Decorating a christmas tree is our favourite family activity

Are you spontaneous? Do you let your inner child to decide what to do? Do you let yourself be silly? I try so hard to do all the above as often as possible.

It is really unusual to see snow at the end of april, but it happened this year. We were just departing for our Labour day holidays (in our country we celebrate it on Maj 1st), when it started to snow. In the next few days we threw a snowball fight, we did the sled ride, made some snow angels, baked an apple strudel and even (drum roll please) built a christmas tree.

I guess this would seem pretty strange to a lot of people, but not to kids. They had the idea, they persuaded their grandmother and parents, they built it and we all had the most wonderful time. You see, we love decorating a christmas tree. We usually put some christmas music on, we drink christmas tee and eat fresh baked potica. Every year we make some new ornaments ourselves, and trimming gets to be even more special.

I agree, decorating a christmas tree at the end of April sounds a little bit strange, but if you love doing it as much as we do, you should do it even more often ;-)
